Pivotal cloud foundry tutorial for beginners

Introduction:

Cloud Foundry is an open-source platform as a service (PaaS) that provides you with a choice of clouds, developer frameworks, and application services. It is open source and it is governed by the Cloud Foundry Foundation. The original Cloud Foundry was developed by VMware and currently, it is managed by Pivotal.

Cloud Foundry Installation for Windows


Cloud foundry provided the command-line tool all the activities to do like login, logout, pushing applications into cloud foundry.

Installation

Download the cf executable file: https://cli.run.pivotal.io/stable?release=windows64&source=github
Download file from the above source and follow the below instructions.
Step1: Unzip the file and click on the executable file.
Step2: Click on next and follow the instructions.

Step3: locate the desired location where you want to installation (directory).
Step4: Click on the finish button.

To check whether the cf tool is successfully installed or not follow the below command: cf
you will get information like version and sample commands.
Sample Commands: 
For login: cf login -a api.run.pivotal.io
For logout: cf logout
For pushing application: cf push application-name -p Tagerfile.
